Service Description

Memory Lane is a digital platform that allows users to create, organize, and preserve personal memories through photos, notes, and timeline features.

Our service includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal timeline creation and management
  • Photo and note storage with encryption options
  • Memory organization and search capabilities
  • Privacy controls and selective sharing features

User Accounts

To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Memory Lane. By using our service, you grant us:

  • A limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service
  • The right to create backups and copies for service reliability
  • Permission to process your content for features like search and organization

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must ensure you have the right to share it.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Memory Lane for any of the following purposes:

  • Any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • Harassing, abusing, insulting, harming, defaming, or intimidating others
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
  • Submitting false or misleading information or spam
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Subscriptions and Payments

Memory Lane offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided according to our refund policy
  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice

Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Service availability during maintenance periods
  • Availability when affected by external factors beyond our control

We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance whenever possible.

Data Backup and Recovery

While we implement backup procedures, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining your own backups of important content
  • Securely storing your encryption keys if using encryption features
  • Regularly exporting your data using available tools

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

  • You may terminate by deleting your account
  • We may terminate for violation of these terms
  • We will provide reasonable notice before termination when possible

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memory Lane shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
  • Actions of third parties or external factors
  • User-generated content or interactions between users

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Memory Lane harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Content you upload or share
  • Violation of these terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights

Governing Law
